In addition to training and coaching announcers, I’m one myself. I began working with Sirius Satellite Radio in New York before their public launch in 2001 and I have been a classical announcer with them ever since. Knowledge of this specialized end of the craft comes from my years as Program Director of WCRB, the commercial classical FM in Boston.

You can hear me on Sirius Pops Channel 86 from 1pm to 7pm Eastern time Monday through Friday, and on Symphony Hall Channel 80 from 9 am until 1pm Eastern on Saturday and Sunday.

If you have a broadband connection, you can listen to all 120+ Sirius channels on the Web for three days before they will start urging you to become a subscriber. And if you get the Dish Network satellite TV service, all of the Sirius music channels are available to you in the 6000 channel series. Sirius Pops is channel #6086, Symphony Hall is #6080, etc.
